Explore the North East
A visit to the North East would be incomplete without a visit to Hadrian's Wall, which stands as the most northerly outpost of the vast Roman Empire. On a panoramic coach tour you can re-discover the stories which stand as the testimony to history. The Roman legacy is still with us- the remains of many forts can be visited along the line of the wall and several museums give you a glimpse of rich archaeological remains.
At Milburn Luxury Coaches we regularly run trips out to Hadrian’s Wall, offering a convenient and affordable way for individuals and groups to explore the landmark. We have been serving tourists and locals for decades, and all drivers are DBS checked for added peace of mind. In addition to Hadrian’s Wall, we offer tours and outings to a wide range of places, including Northumberland.

Houseteads Fort: Fine Roman heritage
Houseteads Fort is the highest point on the wall, and has a very well preserved Roman latrine - a communal affair in those days! Moving forward you can visit the Chesters Fort which is a preserved military bath. We can arrange walks and treks depending on your preferences.
“I have used Milburn on more than one occasion from day trips, theatre trips, nights out, family occasions, just to name a few and would gladly recommend them to anyone. The drivers are very polite, friendly and trustworthy, the buses and taxis are reliable, in perfect condition, always look clean and tidy and are comfortable to travel in whether it’s near or far."
